Installation & Setup
Before you start
Install and activate your store platform first — WooCommerce or FluentCart. The plugin needs one of them active, and it has to match the platform you select in Settings.
You'll also need a JDS API token. Log in to your JDS account, go to the API settings, generate a token, and copy it.
Install the plugin
- Download
jds-product-sync.zipfrom your Code Wattz account. - In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the
.zipand select Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
A JDS Sync menu appears in the admin sidebar once active.
Configure
- Go to JDS Sync → Settings.
- Paste your token into API Token.
- Select Test Connection — you should see Connection successful!
- Set E-commerce Platform to WooCommerce or FluentCart.
- Configure pricing and stock settings.
- Select Save Settings.
Match the platform to what's actually active
Selecting FluentCart while only WooCommerce is active — or the reverse — makes every import fail. The Platform Status panel at the bottom of the Settings screen shows which platforms it detects, so check there if imports aren't working.
Verify it works
Test the connection. Settings → Test Connection.
Import one product. Go to JDS Sync → Import Products, use the Bulk Import tab, enter a single known SKU, and import it. Confirm it appears in your product list with the price and stock you expect.
Run a stock sync. Import Products → Manual Stock Sync → Update Stock Now.
Once those three work, enable the scheduled stock sync.
Updating
With an active license, JDS Product Sync updates through the normal WordPress updates screen. Your settings live in the options table, so they survive an update.
Uninstalling
Deactivating stops all syncing. Deleting removes the plugin and its settings.
Imported products stay
Products already imported from JDS remain in your store after deletion — they're ordinary WooCommerce or FluentCart products at that point. Only the plugin and its own settings are removed. Stock simply stops updating.
