Getting Started

Welcome to the Code Wattz documentation. This site covers installation, configuration, and day-to-day use for every plugin we build for WordPress and the Voxel theme.

What's documented here

Each plugin has its own section, reachable from the Plugins menu in the top navigation. Sections follow the same shape so you always know where to look:

SectionWhat it covers
OverviewWhat the plugin does and what it requires
InstallationUploading, activating, and licensing
ConfigurationEvery setting, screen by screen
UsageCommon workflows and examples
TroubleshootingKnown issues and how to resolve them

Requirements

Unless a plugin's own page says otherwise, our plugins assume:

  • WordPress 6.0 or newer
  • PHP 8.0 or newer
  • A supported theme — Voxel plugins require an active, licensed Voxel installation

Plugins that add Elementor widgets also require Elementor to be installed and active.

Installing a Code Wattz plugin

All Code Wattz plugins install the same way as any other WordPress plugin.

  1. Download the plugin .zip from your Code Wattz account or the link included in your purchase email.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the .zip file and select Install Now.
  4. Select Activate Plugin.
  5. If the plugin requires a license key, enter it on its settings screen before configuring anything else.

Updating

Install updates the same way you installed the plugin — upload the new .zip over the existing version. WordPress will replace the plugin files and keep your settings. Take a backup first on production sites.
